Fortnite Chapter 4 Details
Fortnite is in its third chapter right now, but the speculations about 4th part are already there. The new chapter is expected to be in 2023. Everyone expects to see new collaborations, more new heroes and bad guys, as well as new maps.
Chapter 3 plot
The current chapter offered plenty of extraordinary events, including the fight between Dr. Slone and The Foundation, after which Jones was saved. The Foundation saved Fortnite’s precious island from the evil Cube Queen too. During this time, some mechanical changes took place. Players receive the ability to parkour and slide whenever they want. Apart from that Chapter 3 changed the game forever, introducing a new mode called Zero Build.
Yet, many devoted Fortnite fans still believe that Chapter 1 was the best one. Epic Games might take this statement into consideration while developing Chapter 4. For now, it is too early to say something specific about the new edition. We have only several speculations we can share.
What we know about Chapter 4
Every new chapter of Fortnite always offers lots of new and interesting details. You may remember numerous collabs with Marvel in Chapter 2. Chapter 3 brought a wide range of updates and improved the reward system for the quests. Chapter 4 is expected to be released in Unreal Engine 5. Epic Games is trying to provide Fortnite with a 3D engine, and possibly they can come up with an outstanding solution for Chapter 4. There were several leaks shared by fans among each other that revealed UE5 solutions for amazing maps. Moreover, the gameplay looks even smoother. It is possible that there will be more avenues. Players expect the possibility to create customized maps up to their preferences.
Hypex has recently revealed the leak on Twitter that promises custom props, access to the device via the editor, water and landscape editor, gallery or Epic’s props available, and customized props as well. It makes the theory on customized unique maps that players can create themselves possible. The memory still has a 100mb cap.
It looks like the issues between Geno and The Seven will be over till the end of Chapter 3. Players expect to see the end of war with the IO and broken loop. There is a big chance that Artemis, the beloved island we all got used to will be heavily destroyed, if not completely. It is only a matter of time when players will move to the new map. According to the numerous leaks Epic will stick to the tradition of naming islands in Greek, and the new one will be called Asteria. Still, it is hard to say for sure.
The possible storyline
Let’s start from the things we know. If IO and Geno are finished in the next Chapter, players will need an anti hero they all can despise. We can expect more glorious characters than from The Imagined Order or The Last Reality. Many players share the same theory that the new character will be highly mysterious and literally invisible. This bad guy called The Nothing will travel via a new map. While players will not be able to see him, they will be able to hear dialogs.
There is no information about The Nothing. We don’t know his sad story that turned him into a villain as well. Apparently this anti hero can start a huge fire and bring the new world into total chaos if players will not stop him. Players will not be able to identify him since they don’t know how he looks. For now, all we can do is to wait for the new Chapter 4 to find out everything about the new plot and new characters. Don’t forget that there will definitely be collabs. Let’s just hope they will be fresh and interesting.
Fortnite New Chapter Expectations
There are numerous speculations, rumors, and leaks that sometimes turn out to be decoys. Epic does not make any official comments about Chapter 4. Yet, players already know that they can expect something even better than in Chapter 3.
