More Details on GTA 6
You may probably wonder what to expect from the new GTA game. The trick is that no matter how much you want to know about the game, Rockstar is highly secretive developers. Even though they have finally officially announced the game, after all this time, the data they revealed was not enough to satisfy devoted fans.
Still, we now have the confirmation that the game is in development. This September someone was incredibly generous and leaked 90 screenshots and videos from the upcoming game. Rockstar confirmed that they were hacked and they even removed some materials from the Internet. Yet, they were not fast enough to hide from users possible locations, gameplay details, and characters.
Official confirmation of the game
GTA 6 was announced back in February. Rockstar shared the news about the game that is underway during the release of the extension for GTA 5 and GTA Online. Back then Rockstar thanked fans for patience. In August they mentioned GTA 6 again, confirming that the work continues. It was proved in the financial report of Take Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar. The CEO of Take Two, Strauss Zelnick said that GTA 6 will be advanced and incredible. He confirmed that the company is ready to set the new level benchmark for GTA series.
New leaks: real or fake
Many fans believe that the leaked screenshots and videos were just fake. The videos that were leaked on September 18 were just too good to be true, so many remained skeptical about it. They were taken from the online in-development game build. Yet, no matter what your thoughts were about the leak, Rockstar confirmed that they were hacked, stopping all the rumors about fake videos. They announced that there had been an intrusion in the network and that the hacker entered the private information from their system, including the information on GTA 6.
The statement reveals that hackers leaked details of the new game. The company assured that once the game is ready, they will introduce it properly. Rockstar also removed all the materials found online on the new leak, allowing discussions only about the leak, but not details of it.
Will there be a delay?
Once the leak was revealed, gamers began to think about consequences for the game. The most popular concerns were about the delay in the release. However, Rockstar has officially stopped the rumors. They said that the leak will not affect the game and the dates of release. The company continues to work at the same tempo.

So when will the game be there? Rockstar did not mention the release date for now. Meanwhile, fans are trying to guess the most realistic date. They believe that the game will be there in 2025. It sounds the most believable.
New location

Female character
The rumor was that Rockstar is finally working on the woman protagonist. It could be the game changer for the whole GTA series that had never had female protagonists. The leak shows that there are two new characters that are playable. The names are Lucia and Jason, and it looks like the rumors were true.
Changes in GTA Strategy
It looks like Rockstar is trying to change its approach to the famous GTA series. We might see the same Vice City we already know, but filled with the new characters and adventures. As devoted fans we are ready to wait to see the new game released.
