The Behemoth Unveils Exciting Updates for Classics and Teases New Game Development at San Diego Comic-Con

You might have easily missed it among the flurry of announcements and reveals from the San Diego Comic-Con, but The Behemoth has recently revealed updates for many of its classic and much-loved older games, alongside news of a new project in development.

Beginning with Castle Crashers, the game is set to receive enhancements through the Painter Boss Paradise paid DLC coming to Steam. This new upgrade will launch Steam workshop functionalities, allowing gamers to craft their custom in-game elements. Additionally, a new character named Paint Junior will be included in this DLC, all of which are showcased below.

Similarly, Battleblock Theater will benefit from a series of quality-of-life improvements. These enhancements will optimize rendering, offer better frame rates, deliver higher bitrate audio, remedy bugs, support more controllers, and more. The game is also set to launch on additional platforms, although specific details about which platforms haven't been disclosed yet.

For Alien Hominid fans, the news is simple: the game is coming to PS4 and PS5. This applies to both Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD.

As for Pit People, it’s receiving its eighth update, which will address numerous quality of life improvements. The complete list of these improvements hasn't been released yet, as it is still a little ways off.

Finally, The Behemoth has confirmed that they are working on a new game. The project appears to be in the very early stages of development as prototyping has just begun, but the anticipation for something new from the developer is certainly building.
