Stumble Guys
I’ve never been much of a gamer. I never had the patience to sit through all the dialog and exposition, and I always found the controls more confusing than fun. So when a friend recommended Stumble Guys to me, I was skeptical. I’m not even sure why I decided to give it a try, but I’m glad I did.
Stumble Guys is a multiplayer party game with a simple premise: get to the finish line before everyone else. The catch is that the finish line is constantly moving, and the only way to reach it is by avoiding all the obstacles in your way.
The game is played from a top-down perspective, and the graphics are beautifully minimalist. The colors are bright and the environment is pleasingly cartoony. Even the characters are just simple geometric shapes. The game is absurdly fun and very challenging. The controls are simple: just jump, duck, and grab. But the obstacles are anything but. You'll be hilarious stumbling your way through a series of obstacles, including spiked walls, spinning saw blades, and giant hammers.
But don’t let the simplicity of the graphics fool you. The game is fiendishly difficult. The controls are deceptively simple: just use the left joystick to move and the right joystick to jump. But the levels are designed to be incredibly challenging, with obstacles that seem impossible to avoid.
Fortunately, you’re not alone in this struggle. The game supports up to four players, and it’s immensely satisfying to team up with friends and family to beat the levels. The game also features online multiplayer, so you can compete with players from all over the world.
My final opinion
I’ve only been playing the game for a few days, but I’m already hooked. It’s the perfect game for when you just want to relax and have some fun. And even though I’m terrible at it, I can’t help but keep coming back for more.
